A year ago, a massive oil spill began in the Gulf. The entire country was glued to the news until the well was capped, and then we forgot about it.

On a personal basis, I promised myself that I’m not going to jump on the bandwagon – start using the oil spill as a platform to start spreading the word on environmentalism and sustainability, use the disaster as a vehicle to spread the word on my business.
But this psycho-analysis is quite interesting. I’m sure you’ve read the reports, the blogs, the tweets, the articles, imploring you to start taking action. “This is proof that we need to stop using oil”, “Worst oil spill in the history of America shows us why we need to take action now!”.
