Scotland goes 1 up on Recycling

I believe this falls into the “it makes so much sense that we should feel stupid about not thinking about this earlier” section. We should keep this in mind for the day we decide that we want to get recycling programs to actually work in Singapore!

Paper waste

Brand new year back at work!

Does your company encourage double-sided printing? What about a reusable paper bin? If not start by encouraging your co-workers to utilize double-sided printing as much as possible or set up a reusable paper bin next to your office printer for papers that can be reused for printing or as scrap paper for other purposes.

Businesses typically spend 4.5% of their turnover on waste disposal and a majority of it is paper waste. The equation is simple, less waste = more turnover.

Feel free to let us know what other environmental initiatives you have put in place or are already in place at you workplace!
