Open Source Environmentalism is the spreading of ideas and knowledge on environmental sustainability through the open source platform of offering these ideas and information freely, allowing interested individuals to enhance, improve, and adapt to their specific specialties.

We believe that in order for Singapore to advance to higher levels of environmental awareness and sustainability, there needs to be an open sharing of ideas and ideals on an individual and community level. So whether its a movement you are involved in  and would like to spread the message, or some green legislation you’d like to see put in place, or you just want to voice your opinion/insight into why things work or not, join this open source community and make this your eco voice too!

HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?

Step 1: Write an article in Word and save it in .doc or .docx format. You could also draw or take a picture, or make a movie or compose a song. We welcome all forms of expression!

Step 2: Attach your expression into an email and include your name and an optional but strongly encouraged brief background of yourself (age, occupation and anything else that you think is interesting about yourself) and send it to us at ose@oliveventures.com.sg.

Step 3: Wait for our reply! We promise to get back to you within 5 working days so you will know when your article gets published! We aren’t imposing word limits (maximums or minimums) and we promise to do as little editing as possible. No vulgarities or obscenities please!
